Visa

Italy is one of the most accessible countries in terms of Visa. EU/Schengen citizens requite only ID card or passport to enter Italy and can remain as long as they wish. The Congress Secretariat will follow the procedures to obtain VISA for delegates requiring it.

It is the delegate’s responsibility to investigate the visa requirements for Italy and to apply for a visa, if necessary. For detailed information and to check your status, visit the website of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It is highly recommended to apply in due time, as the visa-issuing procedures could take up to 120 days.

To support visa requests, the Congress Secretariat provides the following documentation, upon proof of payment of the registration fee:

  • An invitation letter addressed to the visa applicant and a visa request letter addressed to the Italian Embassy, both signed by the CEO of the Congress Secretariat, AIM Group International
  • Chamber of Commerce Company Registration of the Congress Secretariat, AIM Group International
  • ID of the CEO of the Congress Secretariat, AIM Group International

The documentation must be downloaded by the delegate from their personal area, after registering their data on the Congress platform and paying the registration fee.

Please note that:

  • Submission of the required documentation does not automatically guarantee visa issuance.
  • It is the delegate responsibility to get the necessary document on time to get VISA
  • The Organizers and/or the Congress Secretariat will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants.
  • The invitation and visa request letters are not legally or financially binding on the Congress Secretariat. Expenses related to the conference shall be borne by delegates themselves
  • 50 % fee reimbursement is foreseen should the VISA be denied by the authorities. Refund requests for cancellation due to a denied visa must be submitted before the Congress and accompanied by the official visa denial letter from the Italian embassy.
